RE: Abundance Challenge Diary by Ann
Started today with Day 30 as Gratitude really seems to be the key: yesterday I took more stuff down to the recycling centre and then popped in to have look around a DIY store where I found the perfect garden hose (I had looked on Saturday but the store I went in was sold out of what I wanted) and, rather like Erika's car experience, this has lots of additional add-ons a plus you can even wheel it around, so it will be perfect for the new house.

I felt I wanted to do Videos 1 and 2 again as, being at my mum's I end up getting exposed to the news that I would normally avoid (she never reads her paper so I won't be ordering any for her in the new house) and, with all the Jubilee Celebrations going on I have been catching the news when I wouldn't normally expect to see it as the schedules have changed.

The Diamond Jubilee celebrations have been great, but the economists are moaning about the millions in lost revenue from the extra day off today - funny as this is a leap year so we worked an extra day back in February!

Bankers still seem to be doing well in all this and I keep reminding myself that other people are still making money - Erika for example! SmileSmileSmile So it is perfectly possible for me too.

Video 3 around scarcity mindset today: I think for me this is one of the most important videos in AC. I am not sure why humans have chosen to believe in scarcity when abundance is all around us: maybe we just refuse to see it. I think it underpins everything to have this abundant belief, even when there seems to be lack: that's just the surface and we don't see what is happening underneath.

Video 4 - It's not possible. I had to laugh as the lottery is rolling over again, so next time it will be the equivalent of $180,000, now that's what I call abundance and someone, someday is going to win it.

Video 5 - Guilt about receiving: Inspiration from the Queen here! She graciously accepts gifts from all over the world and also gives them to visiting heads of state, as is the tradition. Elton John has an abundance of money and yet people still send his son birthday gifts. To receive graciously and feel worthy of whatever I am given (good and bad!) is a habit I am getting into.

Also the benefit of tapping every day and repeating stuff over and over, until it is really embedded in you and becomes your default thought, is so important, which is why I have carried on with the AC. It also makes it an even better investment.SmileBig GrinWink

Yep, to those who have, more is given ...

Many people think this is "unfair," but it's simply a result of the power of consciousness. Those who realize they already have everything, and operate from that abundance mentality wealth consciousness, will see abundance all around them. Overflowing abundance.

Day 6 - I was reminded out the scene in 'Oliver Twist' with the 'Please sir an I have some more?' and the reaction it got. Funny that most religions discourage you from asking for more despite the stuff in the bible that says 'Ask and it will be given'!

Day 7 - I do wonder what percentage of millionaires do have a degree? Certainly I can think of more people who don't (Richard Branson being one oh and the Queen!) So absolutely no rigid structure that makes people millionaires: which is good.

Day 8 - Oh the Ego is a sneaky thing and it keeps whispering to me. Today I was reminded in this video how, a few years ago, I was earning more working just 3 days a week than I ever did working full time: I will remember that and focus on the fact that work doesn't have to be hard to earn more than enough money.

Videos 9 and 10 again this morning around income and wealth ceilings and I suddenly remembered: my dad did manual work and wasn't well paid. Me and my brothers earned a lot more money than him and his view was that we sat behind desks all day doing nothing, while he had to work really hard. Something lodged in my brain that I couldn't earn more than my dad because that would be disrespectful and upset him.

Video 11 - I also remembered how my Dad once purchased the most horrible pink paint (silk instead of matt so it was shiny!) because it was in the sale! My dad was not a man who would buy pink, but yet today it is still gracing the walls of my parents' house and is a reminder of how cheap is not a good option!

Video 12 - I love Erika's story about the store: it demonstrates to me how important it is to practise accepting small gifts, as that makes it easier to accept the big ones when they arrive, so that is what I am doing at the moment.

Video 13 - Yes, I have always been a little bit of a control person when it comes to things. I think that's because I was brought up to think 'If you want something done properly, do it yourself'. Boy, that's exhausting! Mind you there are plenty of things that other people do better than me (decorating springs to mind: I have no patience when it comes to the preparation!).

But control is all about fear, as I know from my friend who worries: I think that, as annoying as it can be to listen to her, it's proving to be a real learning experience and makes me see how far I have come. I just listen to her saying things such as 'I can't, the problem is, I should, I had to, it never happens, this always happens, I don't ask for this chaos in my life' (that's one of my favourites!).She is of course a complete control freak, which causes endless worry when she has to let someone else do something at work. Now I just observe and don't get involved in her 'story'.

Video 14 - another 'aha'': both my parents came from big families. My dad especially, which meant that there was a scarcity of even basic things such as food when he was growing up, as well as education - he had to stay home to help look after his siblings. So he lived a life of never expecting to have more than enough.

Video 15 - great to invoke a female goddess and love the idea of having her support and even becoming her.

Video 16 - In my gratitude journal last night I listed that I was grateful for my lottery win - it was £6 - along with my aching limbs having strimmed the front and back gardens of my neighbours house and done the weeding in my garden and cleaned my patio. I had awful backache and, it occurred to me that my back aches doing things I dislike, such as the gardening, to probably get me to stop doing it! Throughout the three hours of gardening I focused on how good it would look once I had finished, even though I kept getting interrupted by stuff happening. It was a good chance to reframe!

Video 17 - Of course my ego wants to believe that 50 million will require much more work than 50 thousand, so I keep reminding myself that this is just ego attempting to keep me in the same place.

Glad to see your continued commitment, Ann.

Have you considered also tapping more directly on the issues around your business? I know you went back to Magnify Your Business Magnetism for a few of the videos (for those who don't have it, it would be a good idea to get it now: http://tapsmarter.com/magnify-business-magnetism).

My intuition is saying it would be good to get in there more directly about your business and asking for money, and the Magnify videos are more tailored for that purpose, whereas the 30-Day Abundance Challenge, http://tapsmarter.com/attract-money-with...-awakening, is more tailored for overall abundance.

Does that resonate with you? I'm thinking you do the entire Magnify (http://tapsmarter.com/magnify-business-magnetism) series again now. Maybe three videos a day just like you've been doing.

Good idea Erika. I started it and then my ego got in the way. I've spent the last few weeks getting one illness or affliction after another and, at the moment, speaking is painful due to an ulcer on my tongue. This could all be there to stop me talking about my business to prospective clients , so MYBM would seem like the perfect thing to do and I will tap 3 videos a day.
